Village of Fredericton Junction

Holiday Message

On behalf of the Village of Fredericton Junctiion we would like to wish you all a happy holiday season and a most properous 2024!

We know that there are still a few residents affected by the Dec 18/23 storm. We know that that crews are still working tiredlesssly even though some crews are faced with a time out limit to stop and have to continue the next day (those folks are still running on lack of sleep)…..to get folks up and running with power etc. In light of all the tremendous effort to keep the residents safe and warm plus restore power, cell and internet, we need to thank our EMO coodinator Roger Nason, NB Power (and all the contractors that came with their support), Bell, Rogers, DTI, SWS school for remaining open (to provide the children a safe warm place to go), V of FJ Volunteer Fire Dept.,The Royal Canadian Legion Branch#55 for setting up to be the warming station all week, many of our local electricians, those that opened their homes to others, to those that lent items for use (i.e. generators, fuel etc) – we say a BIG Thank-you! No one was injured for that we need to be thank-ful!

The Village office will be closed Wednesday Dec 27 & Thursday Dec 28 (and the usual Friday).

Garbage pickup will be Wednesday Dec 27/23
