To All Residents on the Municipal Water System
The Village of Fredericton Junction will begin a complete flushing of the municipal water system. Flushing will begin on Monday May 1st and will continue until completion depending on water and weather availability. Flushing will begin at the first hydrant by the Water Tower on Sunbury Drive and will be carried forward approximately 6 or 7 hydrants per night until completion.
Flushing will be carried out after 9:00 p.m. each evening and due to directional flushing, water may be shut off for short periods of time in the Maynard, Mersereau, and Wilsey road areas. Customers on the water system may notice slight to moderate discoloration of the water during flushing as well as possible noise in the taps and faucets. If discoloration is noticed, please run your COLD water until it clears. For your convenience you may want to draw off a supply of water for consumption sometime prior the 9:00 p.m. starting time.
We thank you for your co-operation during this time and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
