Due to the water break on Friday Jan 7th, the boil order for users of the municipal water system in still in effect still further notice.
The “boil water” order shall remain in effect until the results of the required water tests have returned acceptable. There must be two (2) consecutive water samples approved by the Department of Health before the boil water order can be lifted.
• Meanwhile, PLEASE BOIL WATER FOR ONE (1) MINUTE prior to consumption.
• All water destined for drinking, preparing infant formulas and juices, washing fruits and vegetables, cooking or dental hygiene be held at a rolling boil for 1 minute, or an alternate source of water should be used. Toddlers and infants should be sponged bathed and caregivers need to ensure no water is swallowed.
• Tap water may be used for other household purposed, including dish washing.
